I sincerely congratulate you on your occupational holiday the Day of Archival Institutions Workers.
Archives are invaluable threads connecting the present and the past, a documental foundation of the history of the State and nation, one of the main sources of constant civilization enrichment of the nation, and the necessary prerequisite of acquisition of new knowledge about ourselves in future.
For Ukrainian community, archives mean much more than just special institutions with inexhaustible reserves of monuments and memory; archival science is of greater scope than just a scientific discipline. At present, archives are unique spiritual continents that fill a special domain of knowledge and act as a uniting chain in the perception of one´s own family and nation.
On the occasion of your occupational holiday, I would like to express sincere gratitude to you, custodians of the most valuable heritage of the mankind, for your self-sacrificing work. I would also like to assure you that The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will exert every effort to secure decent living conditions and social standards to you.
